Shah Safi I appointed him as a watchman «حاجب‌»chamberlain of the Royal Harem (lady's apartment) andafterwards in the year 1046 A.H./1636-7 A.D. assigned him thehonour of being(ايشيك‌ آقاسي‌ باشي‌)chamberlain and in the year 1075 A.H./1664-5 A.D.) by the order of Shah Abbas II assassinated. Thebook was attributed to Shah Safi.
