in thecourt of Shah Abbas I. Shah Safi I appointed him as a watchman
«حاجب»chamberlain of the Royal Harem (lady's apartment) andafterwards
in the year 1046 A.H./1636-7 A.D. assigned him thehonour of being(ايشيك
آقاسي باشي)chamberlain and in the year 1075 A.H./1664-5 A.D.) by
the order of Shah Abbas II assassinated. Thebook was attributed to
Shah Safi.
The collection of letters and royal orders and other decrees, whichwere issued
by the kings to the rulers, and nobles of the empire andthe letters addressed
by ¢lpArsalan to Shah Abbas II have beenwritten in two part «جزء»with an end.«خاتمه»
