Remarks:- This is a short history of Assam which highlights its political, socialand geographical conditions. It also describes of the war-operationsof one of the commanders of Army of Emperor Alamgir, known as MirJomla in the sufferings of his forces in that region. The compiler haswritten all those events, which took place during his successful butunfortunate war. He himself witnessed all these things. Andimmediately after the conquest of Assam and Cooch Beharwitnessed same events in the year 1073 A.H.
The book is divided in 3 parts i.e. a preface, two maqalas (essays)and a supplement:

Remarks:- Damaged at the beginning. This is the general history written in theyear of 1036 A.H. in Ahmad Nagar (Deccan). The author was workingunder Nawwab Sepahdar Khan, whose original name was MirzaMuhammad Saleh and hailed from Tabrez and in the Tenth year ofaccession of Emperor Jahangir, he was the Governor of AhmadNagar. He has described the events of Ahmad Nagar during theJahangir's era.
